The Blacksmith's Chosen Bride
Montana Mail-Order Brides · Book 1
Dubuque, Iowa, 1890. Maud Beckett has set type in the same printing shop for ten years, and never once set her own name in print. When a blacksmith's advertisement asks her what she would call a good day, she answers. Nine hundred miles later in Montana, she learns that the man who cannot read a word she wrote has somehow learned every line by heart. A sweet, closed-door romance with a guaranteed happy ending.
